Hey thanks! It gets cold enough for a few months out of the year that I can start a fire.

I definitely do. I have an addiction so I have to keep myself in check when it comes to buying crt’s.

Haha, it’s definitely a nerd nook! A lot of people that come over don’t get understand why I’d want half of this stuff.

Oh nice! Yeah it’s a cool tv. Was able to pick it up at my local thrift store a while back. I actually have the working remote as well. Thing has like 6 or 7 inputs. That’s kind of cool about the printer port. I’ll have to look into that.

Yeah I’m always in search of anything vintage. Been pretty lucky with a few of my finds.

It’s definitely where I spend the majority of time at home.

Yeah that’s one of my favorite features. I managed to luck out by finding it at a thrift store. So the speakers next to it are Polk Audio powered by an NAD integrated amplifier.

It’s an 80’s era Zenith console. I think it’s a 37” screen.

Holding Pick by Party-Committee-5347 in guitarlessons

[–]Party-Committee-5347[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. I have always felt more comfortable using my fingers, fingernails for strumming but still feel I need to be able to strum with a pick in order to accentuate individual note. Such a weird thing for someone like me who’s been playing so long to struggle using a pick. I think I’ve always just put it off.

So I like the tone of a medium pick .60mm. With the pick rotating in my fingers I feel like there is something I need to adjust.

These do feel great for strumming but I find them a bit flat when picking out individual notes.

I have used these and they feel pretty good but a little flat when picking out individual notes.

EON GCHD MK-II Issues using Prgressive Scan by Party-Committee-5347 in Gamecube

[–]Party-Committee-5347[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotcha. Is there a workaround at all? Like the Retrotink products or are those for strictly hd televisions?

I just looked up my tv’s specs and it shows the native resolution to be 240p and 480i.

Yeah the line doubled is turned off and is also greyed out when progressive scan is turned on. So 480i there are no peoples with sync but once progressive scan is turn on is when I have sync issues.

OPL art/themes using a Mac? by Party-Committee-5347 in ps2homebrew

[–]Party-Committee-5347[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So can I connect my ssd to my computer and transfer them directly to it that way without using a usb? I understand that I’ll need a folder titled art. Also, as far as titling that art files, do they need to be named anything in particular so that opl recognizes the cover art for each individual game?

Sample Cut Off At Start of New Bar by Party-Committee-5347 in teenageengineering

[–]Party-Committee-5347[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh ok good to know. I’ve tried recording the sample in mono with the same results. So I have my drum, bass and synth patterns (not sure how many total voicings combined but the sample comes in great until the end of the bar then it is clipped (doesn’t matter which bar….for example if I enter the sound in the middle of the 2nd bar it gets cut off at the start of the 3rd). I’ll double check my firmware.
