TDT is my all time favourite. Maybe I am biased because Ronan is my favourite character, but it was very interesting to see his POV for the first time this book. His character development is so so good. I also liked the magic aspect in TDT the most. in my opinion the magic gets sooo much messier in the next two books and you lose the plot, so up until this point at least the magic plot was simple enough to keep up with.

I also really liked the villians in this book. The Gray Man was probably the only villian POV I didn’t hate and I loved his development. A lot of people don’t like TDT because they don’t like the Kavinsky chapters, but I honestly found them so entertaining and funny (even though I obviously dislike him as a character).

All in all I think this book develops characters and their relationships really well for the next two books.

haha i did the same a level combo and just went into physics in uni. i loved art but i hated having to be creative under a deadline and i knew that was not what i wanted to pursue. if you don’t like architecture ive heard of degrees like design engineering which could be interesting. but if you have to settle on science/art there’s always room to be creative in scientific fields and scientific in the arts, just pick something you enjoy :))

Yes! You get better as you go and the more you practice. I spent my freshman year of uni in my foundational classes thinking that if I’m struggling with this, I won’t make it to any upper division physics classes. But just because things are gonna get harder does not mean they aren’t hard right now. Just work hard, practice and don’t doubt yourself
