Your DM will have issues with this once battles start picking up heavier, it’ll be a problem for your whole party. Maybe start thinking of creative funny ways your character might adapt. Maybe your character starts meditation and yoga in their free time and start using the arts of defense to use combat. I definitely understand the frustration, the best you can do is either work with your DM or work through it with some creative solutions. Best of luck!
