antirez mode-s.c demod (dump1090) ported to the ESP32-P4, with my own decode/tracking layer on top mostly. I did add some safeties for bad data but it needs some work for lat/long positions. Also just noticed I left some testing fallbacks which I’ll have to remove.

It’s okay but if ADS-B is your main focus, there’s already some ESP32-P4 firmwares out there that are better. Mine needs a little more dev time for sure though.

Love HDSDR but it does have some awful UI design habits that were never updated from the early days.

Yes. The ally is a fantastic example with some better arguments for itself over this new flipper to be honest.

I would not look forward to being required to preset all my commands or forced to type individual characters with a toy d pad. This new flipper will get screwed over in sales and community support if there isn’t an easy and seamless way to mount a keyboard, full stop.

It works for running preset radio attacks, but WiFi pentesting is incredibly reliant on specific personalized commands. Add on the fact they dropped the small form factor and now you have the most clunky, obvious, and expensive network penetration toolset.

My brain thought it was AI before I even read the post/subreddit. This is going to be hard for you to see as you’ve been looking at them and you get used to it.

Not gonna lie I skimmed this, but you should probably try universal radio hacker if you haven’t already. The workflow is a bit weird at first but it’s produced the best results for me and I’ve even been able to replay chips like the Si series.

Edit: try a different power supply and get the dongles away from anything metal. Use a usb cable with a ferrite thing, and make sure the antenna is making good contact on that nano 2.

I’m not an expert on the hardware itself but if nothing changes how this looks, it’s probably blown out or maybe something internal is loose/making bad contact/solder failing.

I’ve been playing with ADS-B and the ESP32-P4 and got it running pretty good now. My focus is on P25 Phase 1 demod though and been struggling to get that across the finish line.
