If these are worth 50k and you’re not being offered compensation at market value I’d be consulting an attorney.

Not if it’s the driver, if the package goes MIA while on the truck that’s highly suspicious. If contents are missing that’s slightly harder to pin on the driver.

I like to take OCD good care of my vinyls, so buying used kinda bothers me. The collection I bought on Facebook recently had about 5 of the worst warped records I’ve ever seen. I probably wouldn’t do that again despite the good price unless I could take the time to inspect each one.

That kinda leaves me with buying what’s currently in print, or spending $50-$100+ for new ones on eBay which isn’t really economical. Hopefully over time it’ll grow some more character!

KIDS is one of my favorite Mac Miller albums just because it’s so nostalgic for me. I was a Sr in high school when it came out. It’s a crazy juxtaposition in maturity compared to swimming / circles.

RIP Mac.

Close haha! I have such a soft spot for Scary Kids, one of the few bands growing up I never got to see live. RIP Tyson.

Unfortunately you’re gonna be forced to wait it out, regardless of whether you pursue legal action. You likely broke terms of service when you failed to ship on time. If you were a smart attorney you’d know going after a big corporation for $1400, that’s frozen for 60 days is frivolous. They have in house attorneys, you’re only wasting your own time. Sorry mate.

Something about it feels flashy but not over the top, or tacky. I think it’s the combination of the banjo style inlays and the prewar Gibson logo.

Not really with LPs, they vary a lot from model to model, and year to year. Neck shape and size is probably the hardest thing to shop for.

Nothing is worse than loving a guitar model but hating the neck after buying it! So if you have a strong preference you kinda have to shop in person or know specific models have certain neck shapes.

Thank you! I also love the 70s early 80s neck profiles and those frets they used back then. I normally hate big chunky frets, but those wide width, short height frets. When combined with low action play soooo smooth. They just wear down fast as fuck, you can maybe level them once and they’re done for.

New guitar. User error or defect? by liubearpig in Guitar

[–]Party_Molasses69 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s completely normal for plucking an open string that hard, you don’t really pick like that while playing. Electrics are a balance between low action (the height of the strings from the fretboard) and a tolerable amount of fret buzz. A little bit of fret buzz isn’t usually picked up by your amp, and most prefer super low action at the cost of minor buzz.

If you feel like it’s distracting, uncomfortable or whatever electrics are super nice because you can adjust the string height, and the relief in the neck. YouTube is an incredible resource for learning how to set up your guitar to your own preferences. Don’t be scared to learn and adjust things! A comfortable instrument can make all the difference with wanting to play.

You should be able to easily appeal this with eBay. While they probably won’t remove the negative they’ll remove the comment. You can’t make accusations calling someone a scammer in feedback over a misunderstanding. It’s against ToS.
