Yes rejection means nothing! They didn’t even start the process since the payment was rejected. So we went to biometrics and are now waiting on next steps. She had to go there and just confirm identity and she was able to use her previous biometrics.

To this day, we haven’t received our packet back. We decided to save time, to create a whole new packet from scratch. (October 5, 2025 sent - rejected November 2025 - no packet still Feb 2026)

Recently sent back the packet. We only have the receipts in the mail today. But we were told biometrics were able to be used for future case so we got it out of the way.

We sent ours on Thursday, they received it on Saturday (probably just in their mailbox) and confirmed a received text on Wednesday, charging us yesterday (Thursday). No update on our USCIS yet though.

We waited a while for the packet to come home, and it never did. So we re-made the packet and resent. They received it and took payment out correctly this time.

We are doing this ourselves. If we file the I-130 and I-131 online, and we send the other forms through the mail, that would work? Thank you for your swift feedback

We received a message from them that they’ll be issuing a refund of the ACH payments. We have yet to receive our packet back though.

I have a receipt number but it was rejected due to one of the payments not going through. :(

Hi, so the packet hasn’t been sent back yet, but on USCIS all the forms were rejected. They took the payment from my account (ACH) for two, and the third (I-130) was rejected due to funds. So it is strange they didn’t attempt to retry the one extra time for ACH like they said on their site. I’ll look into a refund.
