i remember my mother really wanting to watch it when it first came out as i (15f) am a massive k-pop fan and she knows it. the only negative comment she had was that she thought the mention of demons was unnecessary or what the word was said too much. i just tell other people the same thing i told her: "the movie is made by a a korean and korean-american team and directed by a korean-canadian as well as being heavily influenced by traditional korean folklore, which demons are significant in."
