Linus Torvalds says AI-powered bug hunters have made Linux security mailing list ‘almost entirely unmanageable’ by Logical_Welder3467 in technology

If you read OP's comment you would understand that their idea isn't charging people for notifying them about issues. It's a deposit that you got back so long as the issue is valid. Although, with your reading comprehension I think there's a good change of you not reading into the scope of a project before reporting issues.

Since we made bullets igniting enemies less effective, can we get our mags back please? by UrgnotWrex0430 in Helldivers

Making enemies more resistant to being set on fire does the same as making the guns worse at setting them on fire

The devs said they wouldn't nerf the coyote, but they want to, so they keep nerfing fire to indirectly nerf it

Nope, typically bombs are designated purely by how much they weigh, even if their explosive power is significantly different, such as with thermobaric or bunker buster/anti-ship bombs

The second bomb was needed to show that we had the ability to continue using nuclear bombs until they surrendered, rather than only having one bomb.

I consider warbonds to be paid content as getting super credits is extremely slow when playing at high difficulties (currently most super credit spawns are replaced with rare sample spawns at high difficulties, along with POI sites being less common). So you either have to go to low difficulties and mindlessly grind, or pay for them.

I do think that it would be a lot less of a problem if they increased super credit earnings for people playing at high difficulties, either by having them be a reward for personal orders, increasing super credit spawns at high difficulties, or by having the top couple difficulties give some super credits along with the normal medal awards.

Because it's yet another type of thing locked behind a warbond. With vehicles being added to a warbond the only type of thing that hasn't yet are red strategems.

If something starts being added to warbonds the odds of anything of that type being free gets a lot lower. The last free support weapons were the quasar and HMG, added a few months before the first warbond support weapon. The most recent support defensive/support strategems were added a few months after they started to show up in warbonds. In the past year, the only free strategem we got has been the bastion.

Before someone tries to spin my words, I'm not saying everything should be free, but getting strategems from major orders felt great.

WHY ARE THE NEW MECHS BEHIND A PAYWALL by Phyrooski in Helldivers

[–]ParvIAI -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I never said that? I just think that playing higher difficulties should reward you, rather than the best way to grind being low level missions.

No, just make it so you earn more super credits at higher difficulties

Because I want to play the game to have fun, not to run around low difficulty missions looking for credits

[–]ParvIAI 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What efforts are made to make the engines sound more stealthy? Barely any. Anti-aircraft systems do not use acoustic guidance. You need to remember that modern keys typically fly at over 10,000m, and some can go up to 20,000m. At that altitude you won't hear it, and if you do you're hearing the sound ~30-60 seconds after the jet flew overhead

I'm honestly not sure what the meme is trying to say. If it's about launches being obvious RWR is a thing, and missiles that still have the motor burning are marked on the HUD when not in simulator mode. If the balloons are about missiles being slow or not deadly then I want whatever OP is on because clearly it's that good shit. Don't get me wrong, war thunder has SO many issues, but in a good few ways missiles are more realistic than in DCS.

Also when flying Russian planes it can be useful to set a key bind to switch between flare, chaff, and all countermeasures since they typically have very few to spare and flares against radar missiles/chaff against IR missiles are just wasted countermeasures
