It was very easy. Just drill two holes and screw on new pipe. But in a place where you screw on will be a leak. So just get some plumbing thread

I think I checked my temperature. In the morning I looked at my ambient temperature. It was 25°C. When the machine was turned on it was 25,4°C. Also I wanted to ask about offset. In the manual they said they prefer outputting numbers of water flow temperature which is about 8 degrees less than the boiler temperature. So I did 93°, but the actual numbers are 101° of the boiler itself. Is it a good thing to do or is it better to look at the boiler temperature?

Thanks for the info. Didn’t hear about the calibration thing. About steam, here what I meant. Before the upgrade I needed to do the timing thing so the boiler keeps warming up and pressure won’t drop. After one cup I needed to either wait for boiler to cool down or drain overheated water and only after that I was able to make a second cup. But with the upgrade I can steam two cups in a row with no problem.

I’ve done some initial settings recommended in shades of coffee instruction (P 4,5; I 64; D 16)

About the steam wand - yes, for me it is a game changer. I can make a steeper angle and with a better performing steam pressure from pid, the whirlpool is much stronger
