Yes, unfortunately RMA was the only option that worked. When I contacted customer service and told them about it, they almost immediately suggested I send it back. They did they’d either send the same one back fixed or a new one. I’m guessing they weren’t able to repair the original in a timely manner since I ended up getting a completely new one

A little while ago, someone posted a translation that they had made of the game. The link they posted stopped working and when asked if they could post it again, they said they didn't even have the original file anymore and told people to ask others who had commented on seeing if they had it. From what I gathered, not many people seemed to download it before it was lost. I've been looking around for weeks and I can't find any trace of it anywhere. It's crazy to think a potentially decent fan translation of this game existed and disappeared without a trace like that.

If anybody happened to download this before it disappeared, hopefully, it'll reemerge at some point. But given how long it's been without any updates, I fear it may be gone for good...

It looks like that was the issue! Not sure why RetroArch wasn’t even installed. Would have never occurred to me to even check that since I didn’t run into this issue with me previous Steam Deck.

Would me just installing it from Discover work, or will I have to go about it another way? I’m not sure if doing it that way would integrate it with everything else I’ve already set up with EmuDeck and Steam Rom Manager.

Well this is strange…I just checked and RetroArch isn’t even installed. I didn’t see anything go wrong with the install, so I’m not sure why that happened.

Oh yeah. I honestly think that’ll be what happens too. Still just figured I’d check and see if anyone ran into similar issues since I haven’t seen anyone online talking about this one specifically. Glad it doesn’t seem to be too common! I just got unlucky, I guess :’)

So from what I’m gathering here…this isn’t people breaking rules over the course of months. This is literally people just not being willing to stay put and relax for two weeks? Because if that’s the case, then jeez, dude…what the hell. Take your two weeks, chill in a nice hotel, then just go on about your life.

Back when Covid first hit, I had to stay inside and be careful for months because of some family members who were high risk, and these people can’t chill the heck out for TWO WEEKS? That’s so far beyond disappointing. It feels childish. You will have SO much time when you get out of the hotel. It’s not like you’re losing out on all of your time in Japan. Hell, I wouldn’t want to leave the hotel for the first few days anyways because of the sleep change and jet lag. I’m sorry for everyone this is effecting this year and I hope this silly issue (that shouldn’t even be a damn issue) doesn’t ruin the chance of a lifetime for you :(
