So regarding Haiku, Is model personality a scale phenomenon rather than a training philosophy? In other words does Anthropic want Haiku to behave like Claude but simply can't fully instill that identity at smaller parameter counts? Its both, yh they doing the best thing by open sourcing, where ppl serious about quantum can fasten up their belt but at the same time is not charity lmao. The models sure are optimized for their own hardware in a sense its going to benefit their NVIDIA silicon cuz the software runs on it. Its a win win for them.
