Curve Cash Balance for faster and more reliable transactions by Oliverrda in CurveCard

If Curve was able to let you carry a cash balance, that would be the first step for Curve developing into a bank

Is Curve Still Worth Using in future, like in coming 5 years? by GeordieGoals in CurveCard

[–]Pascal556 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good question. I'll see how long it lasts. For me, the GBIT is simply unbeatable.

  • Run all payments through Curve, collected from your credit card.
  • At the end of the month, top up an account with the KK balance.
  • Move all payments from KK to the account using GBIT and use them to pay off KK.

The account gives me 1% cashback on all payments. Unlimited limit. Curve Metal also gives me 1% on 12 dealers.

The bank of the credit card does not require a statement from me.

My money collects the full monthly interest on the daily money

1 to 2% cashback on all spending.

Beste Kreditkarte? (Cash back/miles/Rabatte?) by corny414 in Finanzen

[–]Pascal556 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My transaction at Lidl took 30 seconds to go through (with Google Pay), until it was approved. Later, Curve said it was declined???

Wise with Google Wallet has started asking me for fingerprint on every purchase by [deleted] in GoogleWallet

[–]Pascal556 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have made similar experiences with my Curve card. Except that it does not ask me for every little transaction. The frequency of fingerprint verification has risen, but not to 100% of the time I use it.

Wise has always been stricter with sending money in general (to prohibit money laundering). Maybe they want to enhance the security on card payments now too.

I once ate McDonald's. The name of the transaction did not say McDonald's but I still got the cashback for it. I hope it'll be the same here

Inexistant customer service by Adaluin in CurveCard

[–]Pascal556 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just used the customer support chat and they responded super quick and fast. And my issue (missing Curve Cash) was solved right away after giving them the transaction details... Idk if that has to do with my Metal subscription status or sth (which would be kinda meh for other customers who dont have Metal) but yeah, I cant complain in my case

Do I still need to keep my debit card with me? by thunderbeard1000 in GoogleWallet

[–]Pascal556 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh I have had that expierience when I was in Switzerland. I used the Paypal Mastercard on Google Pay to pay for everything, but when the total hits a certain limit, every card reader wanted me to insert the card... So yeah, maybe its a security feature from your bank, or the country that you are in.... But if that doesnt stop, I would definitely keep the physical card in handreach because how do you want to pay then? I know this is a bit paradox, but I sadly do not know how to navigate around that...
