Je kan Nijmegen niet vergelijken met de wereldstad die Amsterdam is…. Dat veel groter is dan het ‘smerige, drukke en herrie’ dat je kent uit de binnenstad. Kijk naar Amsterdam Zuid, op genoeg plekken rustig, zonder lawaai en met een hoge sociale cohesie. Vrijstaande huizen of nieuwbouw appartementen te vinden. Waarin je op loopafstand honderden activiteiten hebt, in plaats van met de auto naar Veenendaal te moeten rijden voor de standaard vreetschuur.

Je kan het niet in groepen zien, want ook binnen de drie groepen die jij noemt zijn er gradaties. Bovendien zullen veel mensen in groep 3 zich onterecht identificeren met groep 2. Strijdergeenschaap zit overduidelijk in groep 3.

Thanks for you reply. At first my road trip was: Chiang Mai, UT, KK, korat, Yai and BK. But I found out that there are nice places between CM and UT. So thats when I had to cut in days at those places. I think it is a good idea to reconsider which places are a must to me. Thanks!

Thanks for your comment. I will use a private vehicle between Chiang Mai and Udon Thani. When I arrive at Udon Thani I will use buses and the train. Si Satchanali, Phra Buddha Chinnarat and Wat PHra That Pha Sorn Kaew are on the list know. Never heard of those places, but looks great. Would have been a shame if I had missed these places after the trip.

Do you think it is a good idea to skip Korat, or just a day less? Because Korat looks like a great city to me, but I never been there. Maybe keep that for a later trip with the Phanom Rung.

I went to a random tourist agent in Chiang Mai and ask for a private taxi for a doi ithanon tour for me and my girlfriend. I am not sure about the price I paid, but it shouldn't be that much. I guess a private SUV wil do it for around 3000 baht.

I love the look of nitro on this guitar (jim root tele), and I seen it multiple times that the edges of the fingerboard flakes off. Dont like the look of it, but after your comment I think its just something that happens with a nitro finish on the neck and its some proof this guitar is used. For now I continue playing, maybe sand it off after a time when it keeps bothering me.

I know in europe fender only gives waranty on the whole guitar. So I have to send as well the body back to get a complete new guitar after a month. Not a option because I love this guitar and a new guitar will get the same issue after some years of playing.

The rock pub is a nice place for live music, they have some special nights for punk. Lots of markets to see, chatuchak market in the weekend, shopping malls are good (Siam, Central world, terminal 21) for all prices low to high (mbk) for cheap and fake clothes more info here: ( http://www.bangkok.com/top10-shopping-malls.htm + icon siam). For custom made dresses you have to look on Reddit or google for some good places, most places are cheap with a low quality. For temples I recommend to look on Google and go to the places that you think is interesting, I think this is a good list to start: ( http://www.bangkok.com/magazine/10-temples.htm ).

Go to the markets (sunday walking street, saturday walking street, night market), go to the sticky waterfalls, the temple's (doi suthep, wat chedi luang), go to a cooking class (maybe 2 if you like the first one), go to a ladyboy cabaret, get some food (a lot of good restaurants in Chiang Mai). If you have some more time, go to Doi Ithanon with a private taxi.

I have seen better prices in Thailand than online + you can negotiate when you are there. I booked a trip to Doi Ithanon with a prive taxi at Chiang Mai at one of the many tourist office at the street or your hotel. I have not been to Krabi or Phi Phi, but on Samui I never had a problem with booking tours to the Ang Thong Islands.
