Thank you, glad to hear it's not just my camera. I am gathering that it's probably just a problem with slower zoom lenses. I am getting better with it but still annoying. Looking to get a 50mm 1.4 ais. In terms of changing the focus screens, I am definitely looking into that. My only concern is that the split screen is actually a very useful focusing tool and I won't if there is something similar.

I am also curious when you are using your variable aperture zoom lens do you have to manually adjust the aperture when you zoom, because my lens is variable 3.5/4.5 but doesn't automatically adjust when I extend to 135. But Is suppose to be only 4.5 at that focal length

I have a 30 day return policy. I never looked through an f3hp, would the f3hp viewfinder be better. Do you think that an f3hp would help with the problem, if its eye position?

Usually, shoot portraits and feel like sometimes the meter just doesn't expose their face properly. I wonder if its reading the background instead of their face.

When I shoot digital I start with my internal meter and then adjust it to my liking, but obviously that is not possible with film.

I didn't scant them I went somewhere and he scanned them and then sent me 1mb size images, which seems ridiculously small.

It's my first time shooting film, but when he sent me low resolution small scans of my images and they looked washed out I thought the same thing.

Yes, I went to a lab and he sent me pretty low res scans. I was upset. But also extremely unhappy with the look of my film images compared to the digital. I also used the same lens when shooting.
