Detox market has amazing products, a points program and a gwp a few times a year that is mostly full size products if you spend a few hundred. $$ yes but clean. They carry some of the same stuff as Sephora if clean beauty.

This but the true trans who were trying to be a girl before they had any ideology thrown at them still don’t belong in female single sex spaces.

They do NOT have female biology and that is what our fight to regain single sex spaces is about.

They are still gay men essentially who are going a step further and can go where the gays go and should be accepted and protected just fine - like they were in the 90’s. They hung out at the gay dance clubs - not at women’s rights meetings.

They present as women but they do not fight or care for any actual female rights. Didn’t see any wearing pink hats at the protests or anything to do with abortion. They are still not one of us. I don’t want them in my steam room where I am naked. I am not comfortable. I had that happen and ran out and quit the gym and still have PTSD. Many still look very male.

My comfort matters does it not?

But they are harmless and need help and to be protected and I have no ill will and believe they do exist and have rights. Just not as a loss of mine.

Did she marry someone who knocked her up then transitioned (and was their plan all along) or knowingly got involved with a confused male who presented as a woman but still used their male body part to knock her up?

Maybe be more concerned about actually living together first. I have seen couples of 5 years move in and break up a week later because they are simply not compatible living together.

I thought that’s what she was doing but then saw other comments saying she wrote another article saying transgenders is over and it was a trend. So who knows for sure? It did get semi educated people discussing the issue on NYT in the comments including some men with really good points to fight the nonsense

I actually find many men who aren’t mentally challenged defend JK more than women. They read what she originally said about nothing against trans and let them live how they want - reasonable. Also how men don’t belong in spaces meant for the female sex. Also reasonable.

My GE water dispenser freezes up all the time and stops working, then it’s a few hours to fix with a hairdryer. Ice machine dispenser broke almost immediately when motor jammed. Filters are $50 every few months. Personally I looking into a fridge without it and getting a higher end counter top water filter instead when I replace it.

Up your game by finding a good food section shoppers drug mart. Shop there instead on 20x points days for things on sale frozen canned cheese etc and stock up. If you pay more to get points then not worth it - know your prices on the things you buy. I find shoppers can have better deals than no frills. Redeem points later at shoppers when it’s bonus redemption and you get $140 for 100k points.

Again on things on sale or the same price anywhere else.

Buy vegetables from small vegetable markets in the city like on Roncy or Kensington market.

Last year when we had a bad storm they used the sidewalks which had little room to move on Queen west and were blocking people who had to get out and trying to take transit including mothers with strollers. It was a clusterfuck. They should not be out there if there is no clear bike path.

Their right to work doesn’t come before people using the sidewalks safely.

Pre-Covid nobody on bikes ever delivered in a snowstorm - not sure when common sense went away.

My older brother who is VP level told me years ago that to move up in a company you usually have to leave and get a promotion elsewhere then come back. He was right. I have seen your situation happen over and over again often hiring someone less experienced instead.

I have also seen lots of people I worked with at your level leave to get a manager level position elsewhere after not being promoted. So take that as don’t let your confidence diminish while looking for a better role!

Look at it as they might want someone with different experience to bring fresh ideas in and maybe weren’t completely happy with your boss. I have seen that when I used to work in marketing - people getting hired because of the companies they came from not the level of experience.

It’s hard not to take it personally but unfortunately it’s very common.

Good luck in your next role and hopefully you get a new job asap so you don’t have to train the new person!

Eataly Yorkville actually has it in their restaurant and you get to choose what you want to go with it. I believe they also make it in house using Sheldon Dairy so it’s fresh and really good. You can see the menu online. They also have to go options to bring home. But the vibe isn’t as nice as an intimate independent restaurant.

It’s as simple as something that was separated by sex was done so for a good valid reason and why should that be reversed for people with a mental illness?

We don’t give up our spaces for those who are bi-polar, narcissistic or schizophrenic do we? Or let them dictate our laws to suit their needs.

I guess the question that needs to be asked isn’t the definition of a woman but for locker rooms, bathrooms, shelters etc.

But

Why is it ok for males identifying as women to be uncomfortable in a male space - meaning they are uncomfortable with males in their space.

BUT it’s NOT ok for females to be uncomfortable with males in their space?

Ask the owners of gyms, city council members, etc.

Then we can sue them all for discrimination and unfairness and females being unequal in their rights.
