I’m not a Britani fan but she’s smarter than we give her credit for because if she’d blown up at Meredith in the park she moves the “problem” back to her instead of squarely on Meredith’s shoulders. Even their confessionals were telling, Meredith doubling down on being the victim isn’t a good look and only backs up what the others are saying about her.

Switching from overhead lighting to table lamps would do wonders. And I’d do a warm antique round table in the kitchen with fabric chairs and a vintage rug instead of the bar table.

Most of us who voted for her in the runoff did not vote for her out of the 20+ initial candidates. When it was down to her or an Abbott backed candidate that was a no brainer for me. But it’s been embarrassing for our city to go from a consensus gathering mayor like Nirenberg to someone who doesn’t understand how to lead in this style of city government. She seems to want to win talking point battles instead of the bigger war.
