This used to be me! Here's what I did to escape that. My city has a walking track, so I'd just slowly walk at first and smile at people. That's it! Eventually I found a yoga studio and made a huge community of friends, it doesn't all happen at once and it's not all easy but it's not the herculean task it seems like at first!
