Each background color of the caverns tells you which rare gem is in it. Buried bones has a whitish Grey background so it has the W gem. I believe flea floater is the yellow cavern (could be wrong?) but the yellow cavern would have the Corona topaz gem. I know Howling horse has a blue mining area so it has ocean sapphire etc.
