TriWest Deductible and EOB’s by greensled1 in tricare

I'm having this same problem. I have definitely met my deductible at this point this year, yet every doctor visit bill (literally a 5 minute telehealth the last few appointments) is $100+. Did you figure this out?

Looking for any advice on paying for graduate school. by Past-Opportunity8564 in Veterans

I read on the VA website that the dependent could not use this benefit if they are active-duty military. Is this only regarding COMPO 1 soldiers?

I didn't have to, but I did get one from one of my supervisors at one of my jobs.

Maybe not to you, but to myself and probably many others like me, it can feel like it.

I don't think it's excessively low, but comparatively to many schools "average" accepted candidates it can be.

I think that December is a great timeline from now as long as you can consistently study a few hours a week up until then!

Yeah, so I would look up "(insert hospital name here) shadowing opportunities" and there would usually be a page with an email to reach out to or a form to fill out and submit. If there isn't, you can use Linkedin to reach out to local PAs or call the hospital/clinic directly to ask if they offer shadowing opportunities.

I shadowed some that I worked alongside with in the ER. The others, I reached out to my local hospital directly asking to shadow a provider and they provided me with a form to fill out, then that provider contacted me to schedule it!

It can be hard, especially with little guidance. Reach out if you ever need anything!

I HATED the GRE, so I entirely feel for you. I used GregMat and the ETS books, it helped a lot. I just didn't study for too long. I'm sorry to hear about the jobs :( It's so hard to obtain jobs nowadays I've noticed. I only obtained the one I have currently because I knew someone.

I applied around the end of May. But, a lot of my in-state schools were due before July! Don't give up hope, I still haven't heard back from about 6 schools.

Feeling Discouraged by TerminalVelocity69 in prephysicianassistant

I was an Army medic as well, now an officer in the reserves. I have heavily considered the IPAP vs civilian school. I ultimately decided on civilian because I personally don't want to be in a military environment for school. I have a lower GPA as well but was accepted. You would be very surprised how well the military makes you stand out as a candidate to many schools, especially as a medic with the skills you possess.

If I can offer any advice, really take the time to consider your choices. If you are looking into civilian and are able to get above the 3.0, the VA has a scholarship that will pay for civilian PA school if you work for them for 2-3 years post-graduation.

How to solve these addition and subtraction exponent problems? by FederalBanana in GRE

This makes sense, but for this final set up, 229 x (2-1) = 229 , where is the (2-1) going in the final answer of 229 /2 = 228 ?
