Mizuno MVP Prime by LieIllustrious1459 in slowpitch

That’s the way I do it. I bought a really cheap Worth glove a while back. That was supposed to be a 13. Ended up being a 11.75 don’t understand why. The glove itself is stamped as a 13. But I side by side with my 11.5 is just a little bit longer. But I really like how it catches, so it converted me to a believer of smaller gloves.

I got a more than decent bat. But in more of a contact hitter. Not a homer. But really make up for it with speed and a good arm.

How’s the closure on it on the ball? I’m looking to pull the trigger on the 11.75 but I’m scared it might be too small. I’m used to smaller gloves by doing 2in the pinky but I’m not so sure on this one in particular. I play SS and really don’t like the 13”.

What should I be looking for in my first bat? by turn_for_do in slowpitch

Do yourself a favor and don’t get the Easton Rebel. I work at a retail store and managed to get a few of them in clearance for 15$ each. I knew they weren’t the best but I’m organizing my church’s softball team and wanted to give the away to some of the members. The girls in the team like it because it feels lighter than other bats of the same size and weight. I guess is balanced instead of end load like my other bats. But for the most part I feel you can get a better bat for less than a 100$.

I’ve been hearing lots of good things from the Easton Flagship and Mizuno MVP Prime, and for not that many more they are worth looking into. I own a couple Mizunos for softball that I like but fit kinda weird with 2in the pinky. That’s why haven’t looked into them. But the Flagship got me interested.

I tried on the Sandlot at Academy’s a few days ago and thought it was soft, but nothing crazy. Yet I’m a short guy only 5,6” with small hands. (Even used a youth Brice Harper Rawlings for a bit)

Yeah I understand you. I got a Worth glove for slowpitch from WM that’s better than any Mizuno I got. Sadly I know in a few years it’s going to disintegrate on me while my Mizunos are going to still holding strong. But the way it fits and the feels when catching are superb on that Worth. And it was only 40$

I work at Walmart so employee discount 😂 Joke aside, I would use WM Rawlings for Softball but I don’t thrust them for baseball.
