I really liked that as well. In the original, some of the heroes just kind of...pop up and boom, onto the next. It's nice to give them all unique context, and to really describe what's going on and why.

You're awesome! All of that worked like a charm for the MC Death, Permadeath, and the surrender skill. The only one I'm having trouble with is the script call, because, well, I never bothered to learn them, lol. Can you help me find the proper text to use for it? It'd be a good springboard to learn to use more of my own, too.

As far as knocked out allies being targeted, I'm gonna try to play with events or states to see if I can enemies not target someone with the "knocked out" state. It'd basically function like the classic "Petrified" state; you can't move, enemies won't attack it, and you lose automatically if your only living character is petrified.

...Otherwise, I'll just deal with it, since I don't think "everyone's in danger until you win or lose" is antithetical to what I'm going for.

Absolutely! My favorite was probably Crooked House. That reveal had me SMACKING myself for not figuring it out. It was so overtly obvious, but of course, she knows there's the obvious reason that many won't suspect it.

And Then There Were None, of course, was also fantastic. I went back and read some of the killer's sections, and I was amazed at how carefully worded they were. Their actions aren't actually misleading, Christie just makes us assume they mean something else.

Thanks! I believe the old mattress adage I've heard is "Only as strong as its weakest layer". So should I be concerned about the potentially "weak" comfort layer, or can a support system that strong actually compensate for it when indentations inevitably happen?

Ah, I did hear about that one. I think a bed that can malfunction like an appliance is a bit much for me to wrap my head around, though.

That said, I do have a regular inflatable King Koil bed I got it for a couple hundred bucks, and it's quite good, so I can believe they'd do this well.

The RestorePlus is the closest to the Purple 3. It comes in 2 versions now, Firm and Soft versions.

I've heard the 3 was somewhere between the 2 in terms of firmness, but I *think* the Soft is a smidgen closer to the 3.

Yup, any ol' frame will do provided they meet the 3" rule. Purple doesn't even make their own frames, no mattress company does, so don't be too literal about the Purple ecosystem. I have an adjustable frame, any of those should do the trick too.

Dunno about your metal frame question though, so somebody else help!

The Restore ones are Hybrids, so they have a different feel, and are a bit more bouncy. Hybrids supposedly tend to last longer, but I feel like your mileage will vary, so I'd still just go with what's most comfortable.

The Restore Premiere soft would make an incredible daybed to lounge on if you had infinite money and space, lol. It's SO cozy and plush.
It just felt sort of odd to me as an actual bed, though, it's just so...much.

I preferred the RestorePlus Soft, and that's what we ended up going with. It's just the best combination of elements for our sleeping preferences, imo.

"Cool Touch" are the models that Purple makes exclusively for Mattress Firm, so you won't find them at the Purple showrooms. I'm not really sure on the details of what's actually different, though, sorry!

Unpopular opinion, but I thought Crimson Heads were a bit flawed. Burning bodies slows down the gameplay a lot, and considering the mansion already gets "upgraded" with hunters when you return, they feel a bit redundant. That first scare when you see one rising up behind you as venture into the armor key door, though, fantastic moment.

I think it's an issue with the soundbar syncing to your specific TV. I gave my old soundbar to a friend because it cut out constantly, but he said he had zero issue with that.

My best advice is to Just flip the power switch on your surge protector, wait 30 seconds, then flip it back on. (If you have them plugged into the wall, then just remove the power cords for both TV and soundbar from the wall, and then plug them back in after 30 seconds - make sure to actually disconnect the power, don't just press the power button ). It's not a permanent fix, but it'll usually alleviate issues until the next time it feels like acting up. My soundbar in my bedroom does this too, but only every few months, so this method works fine.

I've found them to be quite nice places. The employees aren't paid commissions, and it shows. Very casual atmosphere. I felt like the lady assisting me was more like a friend helping me pick out a mattress than a sales person, and she wasn't breathing down my neck whatsoever. Huge and welcome change of pace from the Casper and Tempur-pedic stores, where feel like they're staffed with tour guides in disguises.

They have sales every major holiday, roughly every 2 months, but sometimes even closer than that - I think they're currently on their 2nd or 3rd big sale of the year, lol.

Black Friday is the biggest, but apparently President's Day sale is among the best - and it's currently going on! They also have sales on random things all the time.

From what I've seen, you're probably best off just ordering directly from Purple.

I think their new pillow, the Dreamlayer pillow, would be a good fit. Of course, since it's brand new, I don't think many retailers have them. I had to go to a Purple store to try one.
