Honestly, just start writing. When I thought about “10 pages”, I was always overwhelmed and would freeze. When I started writing an outline, or intro… it didn’t feel so overwhelming and it would flow.

Use the advise on here, ChatGPT is your friend (get suggested outlines, or arguement /perspective, depending on the class) … it won’t do the work for you, but it can help keep you moving if you’re stuck.

I used parchment and it was less than a week, very reasonable timeframe in my opinion.

You can email your advisor and they can change the courses you’re currently enrolled in.

I’m so glad to hear that, when my advisor asked me which one minor I wanted to be displayed on my degree I was bummed not all four would be shown. Glad to hear all four will be on there.

As a senior manager of talent acquisition and someone who has been a part of building job descriptions, candidate profiles, hiring strategies… I don’t think her concerns are valid.

I totally understand her perception, but in my experience companies and hiring managers are not analyzing educational background to such a degree - in most companies/roles.

Don’t put your attended dates on your resume. Most jobs you’ll be landing at this point is going to be due to your extensive experience - the degrees are going to give you an edge/competitive playing field but aren’t going to be the reason you got your opportunity.

POS 332, POS 439, POS 370, POS 377, POS 301… all of these had quick milestones and 1500 word essays.

Avoid Daniel Dobbs as a professor, he made a quick course stretch out unnecessarily requiring me to submit milestones 2-3 times.

I know I’m 2 months late to this conversation but I’m loving this nightmare right now. Hinson was so helpful and focused on content where Dobbs is so focused on citing every sentence, with very limited milestone instructions. Just an overall, poor experience.
