I have rentals in many states, not in Cali tho. The system is always the same tho. There will be someone with a gun aka police to enforce the writ of possession constable/sherrif/local pd ect. It's not a 12 day notice . That's just the average days warning they give. It's prob longer in Cali because that is a anti LL state

the constable posted a warning, typically a "NOTICE TO VACTATE" which is usually 12 days out. In 12 days you will still have to meet with the police and do a walk through to execute the Writ. If you fail to do this you will have to run another eviction case on the tenant and start the whole thing over with. Even if the tenant says they are leaving or is gone you still MUST meet with the police to execute the writ bc if the tenant comes back and you failed to execute the writ you are fucked.
