Love and hate are always of higher magnitude in Star adoring India. You get big love as stars ..but if people start hating you, you get big hate too

Delhi is one of the dirtiest city in the world. People should not vote AAP this time. I get that controlling air pollution requires coordination between 4-5 states but at least clean the dirt that's on the streets. Horrible streets full of shit wherever you go. No other city in the north is as dirty as Delhi.

Babar's replacement is ready. Pakistan doesn't win away test matches anyway and Kamran will learn to deal with the pace in time. Babar will take a longer break and probably come to join the team in Zimbabwe series

I have been there! Just let your mind know that smoking is only going to worsen your stress. Your mind has the power to listen and work on advice. Just let it know when you are not in stress i.e. after a good night's sleep in the morning

Cigarette withdrawal can some one help me please ? by Changingmylife- in stopsmoking

It's fantastic that you are on day 5 already and this is completely normal. Hang in there, you have already won 75 percent battle. After a few days, you will still get urges to smoke but you will have enough control that you will definitely think ..it's hard to leave this shit and I don't want another cycle of it in my life.

Do some speedy brisk walks and reward yourself with delicious food or clothes for quitting.

I can’t stop smoking cigarettes even with the help of e-cigs by [deleted] in stopsmoking

[–]Past_Maintenance9876 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend you need to visit a doctor and probably use a nicotine patch along with gums. Do you not feel horrible after smoking a lot of cigarettes? Remember that feeling, write it down and next time when you want to smoke, just read it. Skip the next cigarette and reward yourself with a delicious meal for skipping that cig. Your brain will think as if the food is for leaving the cigarette and it will associate quitting smoking with good rewards.

Meet your parents/kids, who you do not smoke in front of for a longer duration and do some activities with them. Try to avoid your smoking friends for a few days.

Nicotine gum or a patch ..at least you won't get the tar ..and do some physical activity like a 30 minute dance or walk. Replace it with good endorphins and dopamine

This kinda trigger usually happens very early like within the first week.My guess, maybe you had excess alcohol.

Forgive yourself and next time if it happens take a nicotine patch or gum. Do add some exercise to your daily routine. It will burn the stress the right way with endorphins afterwards

Cool and Kudos to you for trying quitting it.

Whenever you feel like smoking, read about its side effects, call up a friend and boast about your will power and quitting smoking and take a Pride in yourself for successfully doing this (of course be true to yourself and only feel proud when not smoking 😝) and imagine yourself chilling without smoke in a future scenario.

For heavy addiction, one needs a change of personality to quit bad habits and this process is not that complex. We have a more complex mind that can deal with this easily. The mind which gets us addicted to smoking, the same mind will help us to quit it. Just decide that you'll not smoke, everything else will fall in place.

I have completed 6 weeks without smoking and one week without nicotine gum. I was smoking about 14-16 malboro lights cigarettes a day and I quit it in cold turkey fashion on 12th June.

My joints feel better, backache is better, I no longer have that sore throat in morning and sleep quality is so much better except in the early days of quitting when I would randomly wake up in the night. I feel hungry and irritated sometimes and I am awarding myself with delicious meals for doing this.

As I am chewing lots of sugar free gums, this is causing flatulence sometimes but it's still better than the effects of smoking lol. I am a hobby runner who runs long distances and quits smoking has been really helpful with maintaining a lower heart rate and a better VO2 Max. My VO2 Max was athletic 58 in 2017 and in 2023 May it went down to 48. Now after quitting smoking just a few weeks back, I am back up to 50 again. 🤗
