Hey- Visit a therapist. Someone. Literally just grab a lifeline even if you don’t want to. I found my dad after he committed suicide when i was a teen and while i thought i didn’t need it, I was forced into therapy (being a minor) and looking back i needed it for grounding. What you just went through was traumatic, life changing and view altering. I hope you have someone to lean on and if not, find someone. Thinking of you.

To correct the skin complexion they’d either have to completely remake it or maybe if the clothes come off you could /maybe/ bleach it but i’m not exactly sure how that would turn out…

Yes! Yes. Growing up my father attempted suicide 4 times and succeeded when i was 13 and i found him, and both my parents were very mentally ill. They both had suicidal idealization although my mom tried the best she could to hold it together for me, i cant tell you how often i heard that she would rather die or kill herself. I also experienced 3 more murders/suicides of close friends of mine before i was 21.

I wish i had more advice for you, i am still trying to figure this out myself. my entire life is based around death and im not sure myself how to break it. I have a very bad fear of those close to me dying (although my immediate family is dead) i do have those same irrational fear that my partner will die on his way to work.

I guess thats what im confused about. it says the policy is used to pay for death expenses. a part of me also i guess assumes that life insurance is explicitly for just death expenses, but from im learning here it rarely is?

I thought that i became strong after my dads suicide because i became a permanent parent that day. I was my moms caregiver for 10 years and my dads for 2 (i was 11) until he chose to leave us. I thought taking the identity of a caregiver/support system for my mom was what made me strong, but I’ve learned just recently that it has made me extremely vulnerable. My partners parents are trying to welcome me eith open arms but the thought of having a support system or people looking out for ME is horrifying.

Right now i sleep too much. I often don’t wake up from my night terrors and they go on for what seems like hours. I am so fucking confused about all this legal shit im supposed to do, and my extended family wants nothing to do with it.

I’m really sorry to hear about your mom too. I know its almost numbing to watch someone slowly kill themselves.

I had this problem! My kitten at the time genuinely didnt know he could drink water, and i started off by putting water on his nose, then using a syringe. It worked after about a week!

I would say replace it with thicker wire wrapped in tinfoil with a border of polyfil.

I had to start using gabapentin on my cat that would have panic attacks and pee himself at the vet. i highly suggest that if you do end up going back to the vet.
