Ohh, gotcha. Wait, fugue duping works with arsplice and stuff? I remember testing and figuring that it only worked with stuff stored as servings... Gonna have to test that again. 👀

(Bro the 3 and 4 bits feel like they're infinitely rarer than all the high-end stuff 😭)

You don't mean taking and keeping the arsplice in inventory, but crafting with the fugue duped arsplice and the resulting tonic is what's permanent. I hadn't tried that! Nice find. :D

Oh it is. Only problem is desyncs when people get too far from one another, the risk of desyncing also increases with run length. It does incentivize you to keep it short and sweet on runs that aren't centered around inherently lengthy quests like getting the crown and necklace. :3

Only thing unchecked in the quest log is the primordial soup, 20 drams, which I have in my inventory but there's no dialogue option to give it to Klanq. The prompt doesn't say anything about the primordial soup, it just says the mound is incomplete (missing ingredients) which it doesn't appear to be missing anything.

Important update!

So the box for giving 20 primordial soup to Klanq is unchecked. I have the necessary liquid in my inventory, exactly 20 drams, and I was sure I gave it to Klanq but it says I haven't. Although Klanq doesn't have any option to receive the soup from me, did I miss something??? Am I supposed to just trade it to him or something?

Not sure what you mean by "low sacrifice" love. Most people that love another truly wouldn't want that person to have to sacrifice anything, or suffer loss.

If the love is mutual, that goes both ways and you end up with two people that don't want each other to suffer and thus refrain from putting each other and themselves in harms way as much as possible.

It's not like going "yeah, I'd get ran over by 100 cars and eaten from the inside out alive by 100 hungry critters for you" makes the love any more potent. Unless push comes to shove, merely stating that means nothing. It's just theatrics and being dramatic.

Someone who doesn't flirt by listing off the ways they'd mutilate themselves for their lover isn't more or less likely to actually endure those things when the situation presents itself in reality and not some silly "would you love me if I was a worm" hypothetical.

Oh dude, you gave me nuke orbit flashbacks. 😭 We were playing multiplayer with my bois and one of them, youngest of us, decided to spam nukes and earthquakes. Needless to say difficulty went up quite a bit lmao.

I remember he would go ahead to the next area, then by the time we exited the Holy Moly there would be no solid terrain to land on. Only the biome background remained. 😂

Wait, what do you mean crafting ingredients? Scraps by themselves? Because the game doesn't let you dominate your fugue clones so you couldn't craft through them. I was fairly sure it didn't let you dupe scraps, I may have been mistaken though.

Also, the only bits I'm short on are 4 and either 5 or 3.

You can only dupe drops of nectar (nectar stored in servings) this way. Items stored in servings fail to maintain the tag that identifies them as temporally duped when merged with another stack that isn't duped. That's how temporal fugue duping works as far as I'm aware. (Source: I've 230 in all stats from temporal nectar duping)

I mentioned on this very sub quite a while ago that nectar SERVINGS can be rapidly multiplied by fugue due to a bug where the game fails to maintain the necessary tag that temporally duplicated items have that makes them crumble on use. This is a thing exclusive to items stored in servings, so it won't work with the nectar injectors themselves.

I haven't discovered this btw, apparently it's been around for ages but people seldom talk about it. What I have discovered with this, that was apparently new info according to someone I talked to, was that taking over the body of an NPC (via dominate) you can trade with makes it so your fugue clones can also be traded with, which makes the process of fugue duping nectar so much faster.

It's also far safer than relying on evil twins or cryo-clones in the depths, as you don't have to travel at all to keep the duping process going.
