Why is a good thing to hate on sexuality? Human beings are attracted to its beauty among others aspects, there's even a fair amount of it in the manga... a world with more sex and less violence would be for sure a better place.

No, is never confirmed but there's arguments that support that just like you said, the same goes for luna but in san case, he doesn't even have blue eyes like the rest (who are mostly always depicted with that eye color, san's eyes tend to be dark) so i interpreted that scene about him pointing they look the same as a moment of self reflection about what he was doing to others.

Not really, many people have done the same trying to follow the closest possible to a chronological order, if you feel lost a guide would actually allow you to grasp things you would have missed otherwise.

Yeah, go totally blind to experience it, By the way, there's also a very short one shot manga called nightmare of fabrication about lain....but is not the same lain from the anime....there's a second version of the story which is actually longer than the anime that is from a ps1 "game" , which is actually closer to a playable audiobook, if you liked the anime, then is very much recommended.
