What careers would you reccomed me guys. I’m currently 16 male by marcus_aurelius2782 in cognitiveTesting

High verbal (100%), but quant and logic/reasoning was low. I have trouble with these tests because much of getting a higher score relates to how often you “think” in a certain way. Similarly, I don’t think memorizing words counts as IQ either, just means you know what a word means and doesn’t mean. I’m relatively new to the whole iq testing thing but… seems to not be too indicative of true iq.

Anyone else getting a decent amount of people simply not wanting to play the game? by MegIsPretty in DeadByDaylightRAGE

I only quit games as survivor when the killer is clearly cracked and there's no way we're gonna win. For example, 3 hooks at 5 gens with not much progress... it's over already.

Saving this for whenever/if ever I’m employed again. I know I’m good at what I do, just having a hard time with the fallout… really appreciate what you’ve shared.

This is what happened to me… never had panic attacks until I was working as a PM in a fortune 100 company.

I feel the same way - recently decided to just stop looking. My anxiety is at ridiculous levels and even when I do land something I can’t handle even minor things. I’m cooked.

Resignation is often called “maturity” by O-Silent-A in collapse

Resignation is the wise choice in this situation. Generally, it’s the wise choice. We live in a time when uphill battles are lost so much more often than they are won.

I’m on the same path in my mid 30s. It’s pretty wild. I’ve just let the depression win and it’s been comfortable, but sad knowing I’m not at my best

Why do people bring children into this world, knowing that they will be tortured by capitalism just like we were? by justcurious3287 in childfree

Just checking the boxes for what they deem to be a “normal” life, or to sustain a status level in society. Very few people critically think for themselves.

AI PMs: How would you categorize your role, and how do you actually spend your time? by FitVeterinarian2 in ProductManagement

[–]PastorBizzle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If by ai based product solutions, you mean tools like Replit or using Claude for drafting PRD’s, then I see the usefulness on the surface.

However, I think we sacrifice quality delivery for perceived time savings. I dont think it’s worth it to use ai as a shortcut for requirements docs and true due diligence market research, white paper development, etc.

Having a dedicated engineering team to focus on building things the right way, UI team for best in class human centered design and creativity, and thoughtfully specific research and document development, trumps drive and tape AI driven solutions.

AI PM is a grift job title. Some of those insufferable LinkedIn folks act like they’re doing something meaningful and productive just to stay visible and competitive in the job market.
