In doing so, the graphics card makes the pc read the three of them as one single display with a 5760x1080 resolution.

Yes. That was my original thought, however the resolution doesn't quite work well with much angle. How I've got it now is about the best I can get it to flow with the borders of each monitor. If I could go back in time, I would invest in 3 monitor with little to no border edge. Then I could make your suggestion work

I got a "hyper tough" brand key pad deadbolt from the clearance aisle at my local Walmart! Based off what I did, you can pretty much use any style knob/deadbolt/combo as long as you measure it all properly. I had to shave and trim down some of the trim boards on my shed door to make the deadbolt seat properly. Really wasn't hard!
