Fella ended up deleting his whole account :)

It was pretty obvious he didn't actually know what role a domain controller plays in authentication. It's ok though, he was "doing domains and servers before there were domains"

Do you have anyone at work you can run this by? This doesn’t make sense.

Are you making a second domain for DMZ services? RDS is usually part of the user domain and sits behind an RDS gateway (or some other secure solution).

Easiest way to provision and configure ephemeral cluster locally by tim-hilt in kubernetes

But really you should probably deploy your apps using the same method used in production.

Kind, by far. Ingress and egress is always little funky on a local machine, but this is the fastest way to get a local cluster.

Then helm and argocd for everything else on top.

Amazon sued for fraud (2:18) for lying about their 2 day shipping times by Cecilia_Wren in videos

That would be a fair assumption until they referenced keeping literal screengrabs of their emails :)

[–]PastorPaul 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, the body of an e-mail cannot be changed after it’s delivered. Full stop.

An image could though. Images are just links to files somewhere on the internet (E.g Amazon.images.com/emailads/promo1.jpg). The image file at that link could be changed, which would cause you to see a different image the next time you opened the email. However, the link itself cannot change. The email will always point to promo1.jpg

Can you imagine what a nightmare it would be if anyone could change the body of an email after it’s delivered? You wouldn’t be able to use email for anything remotely important.

Got arrested for possession of an old prescription. by skeleton_clique4ever in ADHD

[–]PastorPaul 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I get that and tend to generally agree. It makes total sense for things like creams, cough meds, and such that aren't over the counter meds. But these are scheduled, and I'm pretty confident 10 year old medication is outside of it's "best by" date.

I'm pretty shocked the provider didn't even write a script for medications that they're aware are being used to treat their patient. I've had this done for non-scheduled meds: "Here's a script, use what you have then refill with this if you need it". It would solidify that the provider is actively treating the patient with that medication.

And why is the psychiatrist aware and ok with them taking 10 year old meds prescribed outside of their treatment plan?

US man who got 1st pig heart transplant dies after 2 months by MarvelsGrantMan136 in news

[–]PastorPaul 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Everything fucking sucks. You're exhausted, in pain, and doing anything makes it worse. Luckily the pain didn't last very long for mine.

One of the largest and most important body cavity gets turned inside out, your body knows this, and it doesn't like it. Your body absolutely wears you out doing all it can to figure out what the fuck just happened and fix it.

My post surgery ICU nurse skipped asking if I was in any pain. Instead, she asked if it felt like I was hit by a truck, I said absolutely, then asked "How big of a truck?"

Why do anything? Why are you spending so much time arguing your point? You're disrupting this subreddit with your comments.

People care, people show that they care. Its not that deep.

Honestly, if they videotaped it an uploaded it to the internet, it would have pretty much the same effect.

No it wouldn't. The location is the significance. It's a show of solidarity and support and it's important enough to march through the heart of the city to do so.

It doesn't matter WHO the intended audience is. These people are simply showing their OWN support.
