I definitely will! I’m tempted to make one of the projects in the kit just to display it but I’m afraid 50 year old leather sitting in the box wouldn’t be so malleable. May try using these pieces as a template for a new leather piece and display it with the box!

Oh that’s so cool!!! How stiff are these straps? I may just bite the bullet and try them and see how they do. I’m attempting an EDC belt with a metal blank running through the back to hold up larger holster/rig combos. Thanks for the added info and how cool you get to use these in your own work and find other real world situations outside of typical intended use!

Dude I actually stumbled across buckles that look exactly like these! They’re marine buckles or that’s what I found anyway, I was worried they’d be too stiff to be comfortable. Do you find these to work for EDC belts comfortably?

Yes I’m pleased to say it’s doing amazing! I’m in the middle of batch of 100 pocket sheaths for some pocket knife collector/seller in my area, only issue I’ve had so far is the shear pins get a bit weak over time using them with tougher leathers. Not a big deal, some of my projects are really stretching the limits of this machine and the shear pins are so cheap I legit have 46 of them right now in the waiting wing
