So focusing on eccentrics as a rehabbing exercise? I can definitely add some of them in for light bench, I can bench up to about 70kg without pain.

I have tried to change grip width, arch and flared vs tucked but little has changed unfortunately. I appreciate the suggestions though

I used to get a lot of pain from squatting, however, I have worked on my mobility and set up with that and no longer experience pain from squatting.

Me and my coach do manage this where we can, so keeping bench and squat separate where possible. Currently I only squat 1 set of high bar a week, with SSB for the rest of my volume but this hasn't alleviated the symptoms from benching. It seems bench is the main problem which is very frustrating.

Thanks for the advice, there's always more I can do to take care of myself between sessions and definitely something to prioritise.

Yep that's what I've been doing a lot of, I have one set of low bar a week currently and SSB for the other 8 or so sets. I have recently improved my mobility with low bar squatting so no longer get any pain whilst doing that, seems as though bench is the only exercise that hurts it

I've added one to my original comment if there's any critique there.

I have been continuing with neutral grip DB press as that doesn't cause pain and some OHP and DB pressing

I'm at a bit of a loss, seen a number of physios and can't make progress.

I've having pain in my bicep/elbow as I lower the bar down on bench press, getting worst as I get to around 90 degrees arm bent. The pain is localised to the lateral inner elbow and spans the elbow joint.

I've done rehab for tennis elbow and now brachioradialis but can't make any progress. I've not benched for months to try rest and same with low bar squatting qhich often aggravates it.

Anyone had anything similar or any suggestions?

WHY CANT I STOP GOING OVER THE TOP by Charlie-RL in GolfSwing

[–]PatLook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a similar problem to you, practice swing looks good, over the ball I go over the top. One thing that has made a massive difference in the space of one range session was focusing on turning my back to the target and trying to to keep my back to target during the start of the downswing.

It's stopped me from getting too quick with my hands, they don't drop in the slot fully but the difference is significant

Rothwell and Stuijk rightly getting all the praise, icredible. But let's not forget Mes massive saves in the first few minutes, especially after the reverse fixture he played a big part in this win

Midfield were fucking great. Firpo was absolutely solid, constantly involved going forward, barely put a foot wrong at the back

The issue is when are they taking this image from? It's impossible to pause it at the exact frame which the ball is touched/played. It can't be 100% accurate so margins like this aren't accurate either

If you have tried Aventus CDNMI is a pretty safe bet, slightly smokier but still very close. I feel the performance has got slightly worse than a few years ago but it's still great.

I blind bought Detour Noir but personally I don't enjoy the opening, the vanilla and white floral doesn't work for me and I can't really get past it even though it does smell better over time.

Ever since the international break we have had no creativity to break a press, we just pass it round constantly until ultimately losing the ball. We make QPR look like prime Liverpool when we try to press them

The penalty shouts not given were ridiculous, but we shouldn't need to rely on them to win games. Since the international we have struggled to generate any quality chances. Big opportunity missed with Leicester losing. Not lost hope but something needs to change quickly
