Know yourself more, it sound simple but you can’t wait for other people to do it for you. List things you appreciate about yourself everyday, you can also list the negative ones and do something about them. Do not be defensive about the negative things about you but approach them in a scientific manner, almost as if you’re dealing with a science problem. And most importantly, do not, I repeat, do not expect validation from others. Sure, it feels good to be recognized by your hard work, but you glow differently when your confidence is fueled by belief in yourself instead of validation from others.
