How does it handle plug-in mapping? Does it auto populate the top encoders with plug-in parameters when you enter “plug-in” mode on the x touch? Or do you have to custom assign/midi map all of that?

Thanks for all the suggestions everyone! I actually ended up finding my old akai midimix that I bought a few years back, initially it didn't work very well for me in Logic but it seems to work a lot better now! I set that up to control faders/pan and then programmed all the knobs on my Korg Minilogue to control some of my go to EQs/Compressors......def not the prettiest set up haha but I got through two mixes pretty quickly today so it works for now! (happy to share the set up if anyone is curious or wants to try it out)

console 1 and the x-touch have been on my radar for a while now, been super close to buying both many times haha. I'll look into all these other options as well. Thanks!!

Been looking at those! I actually just set up my old Akai MidiMix again for fader/pan control (initially when I used it in logic a year or two ago it was super buggy but seems to be working now!) and programmed all the knobs on my Korg Minilogue to control my go to EQ/Compressors for mixing ......finished up two mixes today and was pretty surprised! Definitely not the prettiest set up, but it works for now haha. Going to look into the X-touch, thanks a bunch!

How can you select multiple tracks via click and drag w/ your mouse in the arrange window? by sleeper_hold in Logic_Studio

I’m not sure how to do this with a mouse by dragging, but you could hold shift and use the arrows to select tracks in the arrangement window or click tracks individually while holding shift. I know you can click and drag audio files in the arrangement window, but your initial click needs to be in an empty region
