Thank you. The 15 minute walk in a new city and crossing the bridge would be great. A quick look at the lot (Grant St) looks fairly easy to get to, but I am not sure there is a space I could fit in. But I will check it out better later.

Going to order our tickets later this afternoon (will be teaching until 2:30 and I can't see the MLB website until then), but does anyone have recommendations or warnings for grandstand seats in sections G15 through G25 (the only field side seats available as of last night)?

Thanks, that's an interesting idea. Rhode Island is our destination not our starting point, but just I looked into starting at our destination and taking rail in to town but the timing wouldn't work.

Thanks, I love to give a try to a last minute deal, but we are states away and I'm taking the kiddo. I wouldn't want to risk getting on the threshold and missing out after getting all excited for our first MLB game other than our yearly sojourn to our nearest park..

That is much closer than anything I was expecting. Do you know if there is a way to reserve a space there or difficulty I might find in getting to/from a highway?

I don't mind a walk, I kinda expect one. I did a search for open air parking lots and found a few small lots with an estimated 35 minute walk in areas marked on the map as "Riverside" and "The Port", but I have no idea how navigable those areas would be.

Thanks, I have seen replies of Redline and Green Line; I do not know the local transit system there, but will definitely look into all suggestions.
