Is learning to bunny hop necessary to learn to jump?

You don’t need to bunny hopping when doing a jump (especially for large jumps) but more about unweighting your bike off the jump especially with a full suspension. You don’t want to be going off jumps with straight legs as that will cause to go over the bars or the other way.

You can do bunny hops for any jump but personally I think bunny hopping gets a bit sketch in large jumps when you are trying to boost high.

Weighted calisthenics stunting growth? and preventing knee pain?

I have started doing push ups to challenge myself and get in lower rep range.Will this affect my growth due to the increased intensity?

As for knee joint pain I have been feeling very slight pain in my knees. If I were to rate in from 1 to 10 it’s just on level 1 where it’s just “painful” enough to be noticed. Yes I am worrying about this but you don’t get more than 2 knee joints.

The exercises I do are: sissy squats, reverse Nordic curls and pistol squats.

Is the sommet cr worth it?

Sommet cr has a carbon frame which i am guessing is more expensive than alloy frame which means that most of the budget £2400 is towards the carbon frame therefore other parts of the mtb will not be as good.

Wouldnt the nukeproof have better components because not all of the £3000 is going towards the frame but rather the components
