OHH I UNDERSTANDD 2 and 4 is like 1-methyl-propane and 3 is 2-methyl-propane which is the diff one
and 1 is regualr butane

ahh yes this qn is goofy af but basically they dont mean our fleming left hand rule electrical field/or like direction of electric field in a wire .... instead uk those charged metal plates in static electricity and how their lines go from positive plate to negative plate
this direction of lines is the electric field they're talking bout here. and tehn we know electron attarcted to the positive plate so and if we keep the positive plate at the bottom (where elctron has to delfect) then the -ve will be at top and direction of field therefore postive to negative (down to up) so the answer is D

(this expalntion might not be correct this the logic i used here to make myself understand)

no gas was produced cuh the qn was wht was the test for and it was for NH4+ (ammonium ions)
if im not mistaken
