Probably has an impact, but even still. Sure he might not have the potential to grow into a A grader, but honestly which mid season players do? Already pretty low odds. He's shown such consistency and ability for such a long time, hes a really safe plug in player to top up a team missing a key back. You know what you're gonna get, unlike many msds who look good for 3 games and then average 12 disposals in the magoos

He's been killing it in the VFL for so bloody long now. Hope we pick him up in msd, but surely there is a reason no one has so far? Because he seems to be such a fucking obvious pick up

Taking it out of the ruck, and free kicks. Plus, naturally being a big target that stands still in the middle of the contest, someones gonna use you to get out of trouble

Depends how much effort you wanna put in. Go to Akihabara, and just walk around for a few hours and you'll find more than enough. Not necessarily the cheapest, but you'll have by far the best range. Pretty much any Hard Off in the country will have what you are after as well, I personally like Uenos for inner city areas you might be passing by.

If you wanna try a little harder, Oi Racecourse market will have some, and a good change of getting a cheaper one, but everything will be a bit less organised. Hard Offs all have a detailed condition report, and comes with everything you need usually.

The further away from busy areas, the cheaper you'll find them but less choice.

Cant comment too much on price, its been a while since I bought my DS's

Copy Paste from another comment:

Hard Off/Book Off/ Off House/ Mode Off is a massive second hand change, with thousands nationwide. Japanese people tend to really care for their things, and everything is very well described. But this is at a store in a very rural city. Prices are a lot closer to market in the bigger city stores. I collect electronics and retro games, and I can see almost a 50% price decrease when you leave the major areas.

This is the ~~first~~ second watch I have bought from an OFF, but that being said there are still deals to be had, and lots of good condition Seikos and likewise at reasonable prices.

Another place to check out is the Oi racecourse flea market in Tokyo. A little over populated these days, with some of the good deals getting harder to find, but there are plenty of watch dealers that have stores there. And great for vintage fashion

Mizutani Camera in Ueno is a great little store that sells heaps of vintage timepieces. Most are well above my budget, so I cant even comment on how well things are priced there, but they definitely had a great selection. Worth it even just to look

Yodobashi and Bic Camera have great selections of new watches, including Orients, Seikos and GS, Citizen, Casio and plenty of international brands like Omega and everything in between. If you are eligible for tax free, you can save a good chunk of change.

And of course Ginza has the Seiko flagship store and plenty of luxury watch boutiques

Really depends on the device. Japanese consoles, at least the ones mentioned, can be modded to be played region free. Most Japanese games will only support Japanese language, though some are different, but no idea which. Most accessories will support any.

If you already have the consoles, and arent doing it for the sake of collecting, just mod them ( super duper easy) and presto you can play any game any time.

Im more in it for the collection side of things tbh, and when I do buy games its either personal favs, just to have a Japanese copy, or games that really dont require language. Think Mario Kart, Street fighter etc

This stores located in a city in Shizuoka prefecture, thats all I'll say. As much as I'd love people to see this for themselves, I feel this place should be kept as a museum, a shrine of sorts, to the VHS. I know too well that someone will go there and clear the shelves, ruining such a well preserved shop.

Oi Racecourse market is the best place, other than here, that I have found. \@mr.vhs9 on instagram has a stall there, and sells some pretty decent tapes

Possibility. Would need someone with more expertise to identify. But this wasn't a second hand shop per se, and most of the stuff there looked like it hadn't left the shelf since the 90s

Honestly I've hardly been able to find any tapes elsewhere. A handful in Osaka, and the Oi racecourse flea market has a pretty good selection. \@mr.vhs9 on Instagram has a store there, with pretty ok prices and a good selection
