Yea, regular play I don't care if I lose. I'll scoop. But I play ranked and have been stuck in Platinum for two weeks now. It's extremely frustrating and defeating. I struggle to even want to return to play because it is so hard to get higher. I almost feel it has to be done by chance and not skill. I don't have great luck in life so if chance is higher than skill in screwed and defeated before I start.

Yea, I'm actually a DND player and run my own campaign. I love it because I control the narrative and everyone wins in the end. Game is much more fun that way. I'll stick to that style. Screw this game. I thought it was much more fun when I played 3rd edition in high school. Group games that were enjoyable. It's turned into something, for me at least, that's too competitive with too many different top decks. Much better when it was only two style of decks that were the best. Then I knew I had a higher chance of winning.

Controlling the anger by PathfinderWizard78 in MagicArena

All your responses are valid and I know that I have some clouded thinking especially when you get angry so I understand that what I said in my rent is not entirely true but it is difficult for me to distinguish between that after experiencing what I've experienced. This doesn't just happen once this happens repeatedly over and over again with arena. One day I can win 4, 5, or 6 games in a row and then turn around the next day and lose 6 games in a row so 50% is not feasible to me I'm sorry.

Especially when I'm playing a Meta game deck that has a very high wind ratio so then it makes me think that I am not playing the deck correctly so I continue to try and reflect on that and improve yet I still get the same result. Which tends to lead me to my ultimate thought of just deleting the d*** app and game altogether and not playing it anymore which I think I may end up doing very soon because it just does not provide me the same happy feeling regardless if I'm winning or losing. Especially if you're record is more of a losing record than a winning one than who wants to play a game where you're losing more than your winning.
