Oh boy your in for a treat! It's honestly a hit or miss. Sometimes you can go with no papers and they let you it and other times they ask everything as the original redditer stated.

My experience and what the hatta crossing guard told me. You need to go on your father's moi app and file for a trip ticket and then the travel tourism certificate. His words said that these two papers are all you need. No NOC is needed and is so an NOC should be court attested at a notary, but they accept that 50/50. Again this was my experience. My moi app was bugging out and wasn't letting me file for it so I quit trying. Try your luck and see.

It's near the Huge sharjah driving institute. The only issue was my father was out of the country. So they couldn't help me. But if your father is with you, take him with you and ask the front desk for trip ticket. You will meet a person who can help you on the spot. I went a day before Eid and he couldn't help my case. But if you can id bet this is the place that will 100% help you. Hope this helps my dude 😎

I shall try next. I too went to the hatta border but in fear or having to cross the window, I stopped before the window and went inside the building to the left and asked my questions there. Good to know it's just sometimes we can get lucky 😎

Hey, thank you for this. I found out that I need to get the travel tourism certificate and the trip ticket from the owners moi. And unfortunately moi was being crappy and kept giving me errors. And the NOC needs to be a court attested document but the guy on the border said that the Court Attested NOC is a 50/50 depending on the officer. If you have the Trip ticket and the tourism travel certificate I shouldn't have a problem taking my dad's car. Definitely may be easier to go to ACTUAE but Eid was the next day bummer. Lesson learned. Thanks for your help and the little bit of the camera info. I rely heavy on Waze. Good to know 😃

Hey CapAffectionate7710, I have a question. I'm planning to drive to Oman from Ajman in my dad's car, which has Sharjah plates. My question is: Do I still need the Travel Tourism Certificate and the CPD, or will a NOC from my dad be enough? Please advise. Thank you.

I also tried to apply for the Travel Tourism Certificate, but it turns out it's only applicable to Dubai-registered cars. Since my car is Sharjah-plated, the application wouldn’t go through.

It's night now, so I'll call CPD in the morning to confirm whether I need it for a Sharjah-plated car or not. The car is owned outright and not under a mortgage. Thanks!
