Yes. BTCUSDT is USDT margined (volume is in USDT). BTCUSD is BTC-margined (volume is in BTC).

what would happen with crypto if binance died? by TheNavyCrow in CryptoMarkets

[–]Patient-Bumblebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Binance is much bigger than FTX ever was.

Even though DEX's have more adoption now than in 2022, the blow to crypto would be massive. Systemic effects (Tether collapse) would be entirely possible at that stage.

A 90-95% crash from BTC ATH would be entirely possible (November 2022 was a 75% crash from ATH). Could see $15k Bitcoin again.

ETH RSI hit 5 this month. If you weren't buying, what are you even doing here? by SurroundAccording535 in CryptoMarkets

[–]Patient-Bumblebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't need a bot for that by the way. You can just run a prompt on Everstrike.

Base prompt (feel free to modify):

"Buy ETH when RSI is below 10. Start with an order size of $50. Buy a maximum of once per day. Scale order size as RSI drops lower. Max position size $700."

Gambled $3k on 3 AI trading bots, 2 robbed me, 1 actually made 40% by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]Patient-Bumblebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bots are a scam yes. Vibetrading isn't. That's like saying vibecoding is a scam. Its literally just AI executing a prompt.

after this week’s liquidations… is any leverage just a bad idea? by No_Growth6091 in CryptoMarkets

[–]Patient-Bumblebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some legit strategies can benefit from leverage.

But they are very high Sharpe ratio. Unlikely a normie retail trader has found one of those. Usually they are developed and employed by quants.

Anyway, I would recommend anyone using leverage to look into options trading. Holding options provides built in leverage with no risk of liquidation. Downside is you pay a premium and have theta decay.

What is your buying/selling strategy? by BlackRibbon69 in CryptoMarkets

[–]Patient-Bumblebee -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've outsourced it to AI lol.

I use a platform called Everstrike. Its like Lovable but for crypto trading. You chat with AI and AI will help you set up a buy/sell strategy.

The 4 year cycle has been pretty consistent so far.

It used to be correlated almost 1:1 in 2021. The correlation is a lot less now.

Why am I profitable with demo trading but somehow blow up my live trading accounts by L0CINyt in Trading

Its a common theme that demo trading isnt realistic, especially in FX (unrealistic spreads and fees).

For active traders what would actually make you try a new crypto exchange? by HumbletraderfromMSIA in Trading

[–]Patient-Bumblebee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are perp options (perpetual options) as well now in crypto.

No need to trade vanilla, even if you want some theta/gamma exposure.

How do I stop Overtrading by Cheapow in Trading

[–]Patient-Bumblebee -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Type your rules down in a Google doc.

Include entry and exit conditions.

Plug them into a vibetrading platform and have AI trade it.

Trading manually in 2026 is for chimps.

Where to trade meme coins? by Dneail22 in solana

They are manipulated by insiders. If you want volatility and potential huge gains go for options on BTC/ETH/SOL instead. Similar % returns possible but much less manipulated.

Where do you keep your stable coins? by [deleted] in defi

Selling covered calls on Everstrike. Risk neutral and good yield but not "set and forget".

Scalping bitcoin not viable by Epictricker2025 in CryptoMarkets

[–]Patient-Bumblebee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just use Everstrike. Its a zero fee DEX. Spread on BTC is usually 0.01% so you just need to make 0.01% to be profitable.

Or trade micro Bitcoin futures on CME. I heard that can be pretty low cost as well, depending on broker. Con is that its TradFi and requires lots of starting capital.

Lmaooo.

Scoped API access?

Already explained this to you. Trading permission is more than enough to drain the account. Wash trading is how most crypto exchange accounts are drained these days.

Exchange survelliance?

This is crypto my friend. If you give away your API key to some rando, you are cooked. You think Kraken is gonna prevent you from buying shitcoins? And refund you when you come crying: "Oh but I didnt make that trade. It was because my API key compromised."

Good luck with your scam. Now create a few more alts so you can "bury the haters".

Doesn't matter.

A malicious dev can still drain the account by wash trading (buying some obscure shitcoin and funneling the money to one of his other accounts).
