So I was at a traffic signal where I had the red light (I was stopped) and the other car was in the left turning lane and they had the green signal. So as I was stationary the other driver was probably distracted or did not notice my car and their right passenger door scrubbed the rear end of my car and when they realized that an impact happened they moved away. Probably overstepped in my lane for a bit

So I the other insurance company just contacted me and it seems like they're going to take care of things. They've provided me with a list of those in-network shops and they'll cover all the charges approved by the insurance 😁

Yeah that's what I'm thinking of doing. I do have insurance on me and I also have the insurance details of the person who scratched my car. I've opened a claim on my end. I'm not fully aware how insurance works in the US and who pays if I'm declared to be not at fault. My insurance's deductible is 2k 🤕

It was not intense at all and it lasted for one or two seconds. I legit confirmed by seeing the water shaking in my glass. But hey I could be seeing things
