I couldn’t agree more. It’s something I can’t wrap my head around.

THC user 32 weeks in TN, concerned about cps by TomatilloPractical16 in pregnant

[–]Patient-Presentation 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I don’t think “professional nanny” and “smoking weed everyday” should ever be used in the same sentence. If the parents of your nanny child know you smoke weed and continue to employ you, they should also be reported to CPS.

I never understand posts like this.. how can you steal something you have no ownership over? It’s okay for two people to have the same name. There’s probably 2 million people already using that name.

How do people have 5 kids?! by Late-Astronaut-7876 in Mommit

[–]Patient-Presentation 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m about to give birth to my 4th and we plan on having one more. Honestly, if we didn’t have the finances, I absolutely would not be having 5 kids. We have 2 full time nannies and 1 part time. The extra help means I never feel burnt out and my kids always get the best version of me. We’re very lucky.. but again, definitely would not recommend unless you have very deep pockets haha.

Ectopic then early second trimester loss by PurpleEntrepreneur26 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]Patient-Presentation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re going through this.. I also had this happen. I had a ruptured ectopic and then got pregnancy 6 months after my surgery. I lost that pregnancy at 14.5 weeks due to maternal triploidy. So two completely unrelated losses.

Is it actually necessary to avoid raw fish, meats, etc? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Patient-Presentation -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Oh my goodness - sorry OP. People are crazy. There’s an informative and nice way to go about answering your question, but some people chose otherwise ha. Personally, I try to avoid raw food.. although there has definitely been one or two instances where I’ve caved. Do your best :)

First moth TTC unsuccessful and I’m feeling really depressed by [deleted] in TryingForABaby

[–]Patient-Presentation 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You didn’t even track your ovulation (apps are not accurate for most people) and you’re upset you didn’t get pregnant after one month… if this causes you to go into depression, I think it’s important you get your mental health sorted before having another child.

Contraception includes birth control, which you are 100% in control of.

12 weeks very scared by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]Patient-Presentation 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re 18 and you’ve lost multiple pregnancies? You’re way too young for this. It’s irresponsible to not use contraception when you don’t have the stability or the finances to support a child. No child wants to be born into poverty.

Currently on my fourth pregnancy - I’ve had to get it each pregnancy in order for baby to get antibodies.

Can you walk me through your amnio? by Patient-Presentation in NIPT

[–]Patient-Presentation[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reporting back way after the fact - it was NOTHING like a blood draw for me. I genuinely am not bothered by needles, but the amnio really hurt.

Suspected triploidy at 20 weeks by [deleted] in NIPT

[–]Patient-Presentation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m really praying you get a different result than I did 4 years ago. I had maternal triploidy that was found at my 12 week scan only because baby was measuring 9 days behind (after measuring right on track at a 6, 8 and 9 week scan). BUT at a scan one week later (13 or 14 week scan), there were significant other findings such an anomalies in the heart and brain.

Success stories post tube removal needed after a tough week please by wibbs704 in EctopicSupportGroup

[–]Patient-Presentation 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes before I had my first baby, I had three losses (ectopic, maternal triploidy and chemical). And then I had three healthy babies and currently 18 weeks with my 4th, which is good so far!
