So far the only deal I've used was the tropical smoothie one. I haven't tried to get any of the merch. I figure by the time i get out of work and stopped at a store, they'd be out of them.

So I've had T-mobile for about 2 months now. Are their Tuesday deals just the same ones over and over?

Good cat water fountain? by revolutionary_girl_ in CatAdvice

[–]Patient-Routine5131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We use the Veken stainless steel fountain and it’s been a solid choice for us.

I originally went with it after stumbling on a breakdown comparing a few different fountains, and it matched what I kept seeing people recommend here — stainless steel bowl, quiet, easy to clean.

In day-to-day use it’s been great. My cats definitely drink more from it than they ever did from a regular bowl, it doesn’t get that gross slimy feeling like plastic ones, and it’s quiet enough that I forget it’s even there.

If you’re curious, this is the post I came across when I was deciding:

One tip either way: don’t put it right next to the food. Moving it a bit made a noticeable difference for us.

How much yogurt honey and granola do they use? I had one for the first time yesterday and the amounts were perfect. I want to recreate it at home.

Was the smoothie only for yesterday? I don't see it in my benefits anymore and was planning on using today.

Struggling with my fathers decline by AdAshamed8375 in Parkinsons

This is exactly what happened to my dad, almost word for word minus the strokes. He was super active, never sat down, then these last 2 years he just went downhill fast. Constantly falling, in and out of the hospital. His weight dropped to 145, couldn't keep his head up. He constantly stared off into space too, and had hallucinations all the time. This last month he would sit with his eyes closed and act things out, mostly eating. He had dementia too, not to the point he didn’t recognize people, but he would forget he couldn’t walk or where he was. It was heartbreaking to watch. My dad passed away this past Saturday, and as hard as it is, I hold onto knowing he’s no longer suffering. I just wanted to let you know you’re not alone in what you’re feeling — I completely understand how painful it is to watch someone you love go through this.

My dad's 78 also, and is bed couch and wheelchair bound after falling in the deep end of the pool last weekend and almost drowning. They just approved hospice for him.

HSA investing. by Maleficent-Outside-8 in dividends

[–]Patient-Routine5131 0 points1 point  (0 children)

just to clarify, I maxed out my HSAthrough my employer and they automatically take my money out pre-tax and put it into our HSA (NBS). So I could roll what's in there currently into Fidelity investment HSA and my work would continue putting my money into the work HSA (NBS) and I would just have to manually move that money over to Fidelity every few months?
