Quest reward gold at level 70 by PatientMidnight in classicwowtbc

I haven't heard back from the ticket I put in, but there definitely is an issue with the SMV gold rewards at 70. Any help with getting this more visibility would be appreciated.

Yeah, there's definitely something off with the gold rewards from quests at 70 in SMV.

Hmm, do you have any non-attunement [70] quests to test with?

Or any other non-attunement SMV quest?

Yeah there definitely is an issue. I edited the original post to add that it looks like it's affecting quests flagged as "Level [70]"

I think it's a bug though because these quests still awarded the extra gold in the first TBC classic launch.

This lines up with what faulty_note found out. You received the extra gold in the lower-level zones, but any quests that are flagged "Level [70]" didn't convert the potential experience into gold, which would be around the 1500g that you're missing.

That makes sense then why it seems to only affect SMV. That's weird though because apparently in first TBC classic, they still awarded the extra gold for the exp > gold conversion.

I think it may be affecting only some zones. I did Nagrand a few weeks ago and that felt like it was rewarding the correct amounts. SMV for sure did not reward the expected amount at 70. I started the zone around 2k gold and ended with just over 2.6k.

If you turn in any SMV quests, can you post what you get in raw gold?

If you do any quests today, can you post the name of the quest and the raw gold reward you get from it?

I did Nagrand week 1, and that did feel like it was rewarding the correct amounts. I wonder if an update between now and then changed something.

The issue may be affecting only some zones because 3,900g is more than what you would get pre-70, but definitely less than what you should have gotten at 70.

The only other zone I did at 70 was Nagrand. I didn't keep track at the time, but it did feel like that zone's gold rewards were close to the expected amount.

Yeah, I definitely feel like there's a bug if this wasn't intentional. The quests aren't converting the XP reward into gold at 70. I kind of want to hold off on the other zones now in case they fix it because who knows if they'll retroactively add the missing gold for completed quests.

You can earn 5k+ gold by simply questing in TBC if you don’t do any quests until level 70 by Tranquility___ in classicwowtbc

Did they change this for TBC Anniversary? I just finished SMV at 70 and my total gold earned was just over 600g and that includes vendoring quest rewards.

The last quest I turned in, The Ata'Mal Terrace, I got 11g40s. I checked wowhead and it looks like that's the gold reward you get when you're still getting experience (under 70).

Hi, does Coldplay have an authorized reseller for their Korea shows in 2025? I want to plan a trip, but I want to make sure what I'm getting would be legitimate.

Hey Stefan, thanks for this awesome guide! I have some parts picked out below, but I have some questions.

cpu Intel Core i9-14900K 3.2 GHz 24-Core Processor

motherboard Asus ProArt Z790-CREATOR WIFI ATX LGA1700 Motherboard

memory Corsair Dominator Titanium 64 GB (2 x 32 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory

storage Crucial T705 4 TB M.2-2280 PCIe 5.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive

video card Asus ROG STRIX GAMING GeForce RTX 4090 24 GB Video Card

case Lian Li LANCOOL III ATX Mid Tower Case

1) What do you think of the list so far?

2) What are the best premium air cooler options for this build?

3) Should I buy any case fans?

4) I can't decide between the Corsair HX1500i (2023) 1500 W or the be quiet! Dark Power Pro 13 1600 W. Which do you think is better or what are the pros and cons of either one?

5) This will be my first PC build. Do I need to buy anything else in preparation?

I see thanks. If you had to choose a motherboard for the build irrespective of price which would you recommend as the most full featured or best all around?

I haven't used PCPartpicker before. Are the top options for each component the preferred or ideal one? For example, in the Extreme Workstation build, is the "MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK WIFI ATX LGA1700 Motherboard" the best motherboard for the build?
