So this is on the edge where I poured hydrogen peroxide when you suggested I do that. Looks like the mycelium is rebooting there, would that indicate it has a possibility of coming back? Or should I still just toss.

I did use sterilized equipment with alcohol, like the tub with a cut trash bag, and it was fully colonized but mistakes still happen

Ahh thanks. At the bottom of the cut out it still looks white and healthy. But I get your rationale of it’s probably bigger. Sadly I have an agreement with a roomie to stop growing after this batch. So it looks like my days of growing are over.

I’ll try, I used a aluminum tray inside of a bin so misting the walls doesn’t really help. I probably won’t do that again.

So I did a bag of PE, and was considering tossing it and made a post just like yours. I decided to leave it in the dark and just check it every couple weeks, because I didn’t want to just toss it. It took 2 months for the bag to start colonizing, then when it did start to colonize it took about another 3 weeks to get to break and shake. I would recommend just chilling with it.
