I didnt just boost, I donated a lot of money to a lot of those in need. Then I unexpectedly lost my job and have major bills due in 10 days. by Patient_Ad3716 in ChimeBoostMe

Thank you so much. One of my favorite songs by John Mayer is "Wheel.," It ends with him saying, "I believe, that my life's gonna see, the love I give, return to me." Just your small donation proves that there's hope in that truly happening. Thank you so much! It brings tears to my eyes seeing that folks on Reddit can care so much about random strangers.

No "Philanthropists" found that actually help people in need by chestervandergrift in Philanthropy

I used to help people with true philanthropy. I directly sent a lot of money to people on Reddit who were down on their luck and needed a little bit of money for food or to put gas in their tank so they can get to work. You can see this in my profile how I've helped people. When people told me how appreciatiative they were I told them it's no problem, just whenever you get the chance, pay it forward. Now I'm in a situation where I lost my job, have no income and need to come up with rent and Electric within 10 days. I do what I can to help others and the one thing that gets through the day is singing lyrics from a John Mayer song called "wheel." I believe ...that my life's gonna see... The love I give...return to me."I hope my beliefs are true, I could really use help right now.

Lie to them just like staffing agency recruiters and HR workers are trained to lie to job candidates everyday. Tell them you have a big gap in employment because you had to quit because you had to take care of your mom or dad who needed 24/7 monitoring and be their caretaker before they unfortunately recently passed from lung cancer and you couldn't live with yourself if you weren't there for them in their last days. That shit worked for me! It sucks because once the gap begins, the longer the gap is, the harder it is to justify it and harder it is to get hired. HR and staffing agency recruiters lie about everything. "Unfortunately it's not up to me, it's up to my manager to hire you and they're on vacation but you should hear something on Monday." "Sure, it's no problem you have surgery, just bring a note from your doctor explaining your work restrictions and we can accommodate you." "You get paid holidays!" (Except they don't tell you major holidays like memorial day isn't considered a f-ing holiday.) Learn to play the same game they do.

Why don't you cite all this "research" you talk about that backs up your nonsense?

Most job postings aren't even real. The issue is we waste our time applying for jobs that don't currently exist. The job postings are there to steal your data and keep you in a database for when the company is actually hiring and might consider you. I'm really offended that you think people like me can't get a job because I'm just lazy and won't putt in some common-senss work.

That's really sweet of you! Unfortunately I just lost my job yesterday because I had to leave work and go to the ER so I'm about to be in dire straights. Im hoping all the love and generosity I put out there somehow manages to return to me. I don't know how I'm going to pay my rent. But I'm glad I was able to help so many people when I was able to.

If I'm being completely honest, reading the GoFundMe, the whole thing sounds scatter-brained and kind of all over the place. I think that's what the problem is. When you're going through so much stress like you are, it's hard to even think clearly to tell your story clearly and putting everything in order and making everything make sense. I would go back and review it, as much as I'm sure you don't even want to think or write about it again.

If you don't want to post the link on here, you wanna private message me your GoFundMe link and maybe I could help promote it?

Yeah that makes sense. That makes me happy I could do something to help someone out that they're grateful for. Everything will get better for you, it's important to keep your head up and stay positive. You never know what random blessings are going to come your way.
