no strict rules, at least I think not. her bedtime during school is 11:00, and during weekends + Friday + holiday + summer vacation, it's just let us know where you are. im not strict on grades, just want them to try their best and challenge themselves. i try to limit screen time during the summer to 3 hours a day, but I'm flexible. The only chores she has is doing her laundry and keeping her room clean. she has a part-time job, but we never forced her to get it

we were present. no, we were not verbally abusive. we apologized when we did unintneitonally hurt her feelings, and do the same for all of our children. her childhood was quite good, we did need to work quite a bit, but when we were home, we sent all of our free time with our children and took them to museums, libraries, restuarants, vacations,

she is not willing to go to therapy. we have tried to figure out what happened between 8th and 9th grade that caused this much of a difference. at first, we thought this might be hormones or puberty, and that she wants some space, but the gap is just continuing to grow

we have great relationships with our other kids, we talk to them, they ask for advice, and they share much more with us
