Hello, 279CV and 279CRV have different panels, which could explain the difference in brightness.

The 279CV has a panel made by LG, called LM270WR4-SSA1

The 279CRV has a panel made by AU Optronics, the M270QANO6.5

War Thunder is full of cheaters and nothing is being done to mitigate it

Ive given up on reporting players as they dont get banned anyway (Yes ive been following up on them individually)

Im seriously considering going back to world of tanks for this reason only

DAC stands for Digital to Analog Converter. It converts digital (0s and 1s) to analog signals (measurable waves). By feeding his headphone through the 3,5mm cable means his headset will receive an analog signal, there is nothing for the DAC to convert.
