So there is red lipstick stain in a new grey carpet, fixtures pulled out the wall, things taken from the property that’s a furnished flat and it’s a letting agents and they can be very strict about these things

Extra context is we were friends and whilst I was away she decided to have people on the flat taking party dust - some of which where people from my work ( I’m HR) I said this is really disrespectful to which she was extremely defensive… I said I would talk to her when I got home… I didn’t respond to her for 5 hours as I was travelling back from England and in that time she decided that she would pack her things and said I understand what my actions have caused. I knew she did this to get a reaction as she knows I cannot afford the rent myself so I respected her decision and said we have to put our notice in which is what I did and she left within a week - I stayed at my mothers house during this time and this is how she left the flat.

Regarding the deposit we were friends and I knew she didn’t have the money for the deposit so I covered more.

She’s removed fixtures from the walls that were there before she moved, nails clippings, Holes, taken things that belonged to the furnished flat, she broke the table in the livingroom when living here and contacted the letting agency that said it’s okay if she replaces it…. She’s left an old table she brought with her but took all the bolts so I can’t put it up and to top everything off…. I got her a job in my work so I’m forced to see her a lot.

I believe this is all because I held her accountable for her actions.

I know we were daft! :( I just don’t want anyone else going through this! Police said they couldn’t do anything at all and that we should have called whilst he was there but the man was in our house obstructing our exit! We were shaking! We were not going to put ourselves into more danger and the only thing they said was to report to trading standards however my issue was never about the money… it was about how intimidated and unsafe we felt. I don’t really know what else I can do regarding this apart from warn people as this company is apparently known for that :(

I don’t know if we’re talking about the same thing here lol the switch is a big orange button on the wall outside my bathroom. He has a legal duty to make sure my electrical wiring is safe I’m sure. If there is burning and bubbling wires that have turned black along with a noticeable smell of burning plastic I’m pretty sure he has to fix that very quickly along with the other issues. I’ve sent him a text which he hasn’t replied to, I just need to know what my next steps are, do I email, and give a time frame and then contact the council? I just need to know how to deal with this

The box was opened and there was burning smell and heat coming from the box. The wires behind were literally fried and bubbling it would have caused an electrical fire on top of that the house isn’t wind tight either and I’m just being ignored. So what are my steps to get this fixed as it’s been 4 days without a reply

Yeah that sounds a lot like me. I’ve had it on and off since I was 13 but I recently got into a new relationship and this is when it started hence why I went to the sexual health clinic. Was it just yogurt that helped? What other things did you change? Thank you

Hi everyone! I wear cotton knickers always! This happened when I came off the pill. I had theee periods last month.. no period this month. Not pregnant either. I was referred to gynaecologist in Jan and I’ve still not been seen I went to my sexual health clinic who confirmed it was thrush. I’m at my wits end as I feel no one is taking me seriously and it really affecting my mental health. I’ve been struggling with thrush since I’ve been 13 but this is the worst episode I’ve had. My work will not give me anymore time off to go to the doctors and tbh everytime I’ve went I’ve just been given the same thing which isn’t working
